This morning we met at Andrecito Park in La Paloma to plant a Sri Chinmoy Peace Tree. Students from elementary school 52 joined us, as well as city officials, fire department and citizens.
Esta mañana nos reunimos en el parque Andrecito en La Paloma para plantar un árbol de paz Sri Chinmoy. Nos acompañaron estudiantes de la escuela 52 como también oficiales de la ciudad y el departamento de bomberos.

These are the cabins that were offered by the municipality of La Paloma to the Peace Run for a week, located in a forest across from the beach. We would like to offer our gratitude to the Mayor and city officials who made it possible. Thanks to them these events could take place all week long. Thank you!

After the Peace Tree planting we headed to the city of Rocha to participate in a parade to Walk for the Heart, where hundreds of children and adults participated to bring the awareness that walking and any sport keeps our hearts strong and healthy.
Después de haber plantado el árbol de paz, nos dirijimos a Rocha para participar en un desfile para Caminar por el Corazón, donde ciento de niños y adultos participaron para concientizar a los demás de la importancia de hacer ejercicio y deporte para mantener el corazón fuerte y saludable.
