Cut Bank - Chester

Reported by Hastakamala Diaz 66.0 mi

Thank you Hayley from Best Western Shelby for hosting some of our team. We appreciate your support and friendly staff.

The first team to start running started in Cut Bank. Luckily its summer.

In the background is the spectacular Glacier National Park.

We are now passing fields of grains and farmland. Montana, Big Sky country.

These folks are visiting family in Shelby.

On the road again.

Our route has been following the train line.

Mitch and Lee from Sunburst.

A small mountain range in the background. The tall peak in the middle is called Gold Butte. Not far from them is the Canadian Border.

The ground squirrel taking a good look at us.

Our running route finished in Chester.

Our camping for the night is at Ru's Tiber Marina Campground. Ru and her wonderful big family has kindly offered our team complimentary accommodation here right by the beautiful Lake Elwell. Needless to say, we are incredibly grateful!

This is Ru scooping out the ice cream. Everyone who walks out of the shop, walks out with ice cream in hand.

We were no exception.
