Gedser - Brønby Strand

Reported by Dipavajan Renner 140.0 km

Good bye Germany! We left Rostock in the early morning for Gedser, Denmark...

...we run out from the boat...

....and welcome to Denmark! We were greeted by our local hosts.

...a scenic morning run along the Sea...

Schools were already cloesed for summer holidays? Not all schools: we visited the "Marielyst Hoejskole", boardingschool for active seniors.

...a very heartfelt welcome!

Thank you for the nice meeting and the hospitality!

Thanks to the kitchen!

On our way towards Copenhagen we met runners from the Valloe and Haarlev running clubs.

The runners joined us quite a distance...

...it was a most scenic run through the beautiful nature of Denmark...

...a short photo session at the Valloe Castle...

Thank you for running with us!

We arrived in Brønby Strand.

The Svanholm Cricket Club welcomed us...

Coach Nick Pothas and the Guernsey National Cricket team were in town, too. Nick Pothas is a world class Cricket player who played for the Greek and the South African National Team.

Amjad Khan, former player of the English National Test Cricket team, has now returned to Denmark as a player/trainer at Svanholm Cricketklub.

Thank you for the friendly welcome and the awesome dinner!
