Queenstown - Te Anau

Reported by Rathin Boulton 120.0 km

Our day starts off at the awesome Kingsview School in Frankton.

They are excellent at guessing our countries.

This young man guesses our most difficult country, the Czech Republic. His grandfather was from there. "Ahoj!"

Learning our song with the ukulele keeping us in tune.

The children are very enthusiastic about the peace exercise.

Sharing a moment of peace.

Kingsview School have chosen a special word for their leaf on the Peace Tree - Integrity.

...and inspiring art from the students.

Which quality do these vibrant smiling portraits embody? Happiness.

Everyone gets a chance to hold our torch...

...and then run with it.

Hand to hand, heart to heart.

What a beautiful lake you have!

Amazing surroundings.

The Remarkables are well named.

St Peter's Anglican Church vicar Rev. David Wright offers a prayer for peace. He is a very good runner who has done 53 marathons! It is very inspiring for us to meet him.

Then we take off to run our kilometres.

These French tourists stop and hold the torch.

Jim running his share of kilometres.

Daniel flying by...

New Zealand is truly a lamb-land.

An unexpected delay.

Look who is crossing the road.

For a long way we run along Lake Wakatipu.

We meet this nice Polish family.

...and see a few rainbows today as we head south.

Refilling the torch.

Can you see the reflection of the sky?

Anita doing her bit.

Nurari running by.

Thank you so much to Red Tussock Motel for giving us accomodation for tonight. We are really grateful.
