We spent our night in "Ecofutura", a most beautiful place outside the busy city of Sarajevo.
...a very relaxing morning...
...and natural obstacles on our way back to town...
Lucas enjoys an early run...
...the trees blossom everywhere...
We reached Kiseljak...
...kids from the local sport club ran with us into the meeting...
...a very dynamic run...
...the whole school was out. The stage was set...
...many nice performances...
...happy spectators...
...the principal received the torch...
...and the kids took over...
...our stamps were highly valued...
A real Peace Run party. Thank you Kiseljak!
...the kids joined us on our way out...
...and we went on to Busovača.
Students awaited us...
...and the kids gave us an enthusiastic welcome.
...an excellent choir...
The mayor welcomed us....
Thank you Busovača for the heartfelt meeting!
...a few symbolic steps by the mayor...
...and Travnik was next.
Today was a real kids-festival on the road.
...a head start...
...and straight into a first meeting: we released peace doves into the sky.
...we reached the school...
...a great entrance...
...we lit another torch in the school...
...and got ready for the program:
..the Masters of Ceremony were leading the program...
school, city representative
...dances from around the world...
..a grateful audience...
Thank you travnik for the great welcome!
...a long running day, too: we covered almost 160 km.
Donji Vakuf was our last meeting place of the day: runners welcomed us...
...when we entered the city, the people went out from the shops on the street to get a better view of the torch.
The city gathered on the main square...
...and the mayor received the torch...
...another excellent choir!
...the little children prepared giftcards for our runners...
...performances...
...a sweet way of cheating: we asked the kids where they can feel joy - the correct answer is of course "in the heart"!
Thank you for the great organisation!
...the police did again a great job!
Thank you Donji Vakuf!
A very busy day came to an end.
