...a great, sunny day in Brasil...
..our team took off...
..and we arrived at the "Colégio Ágora"...
...an enthusiastic welcome...
...the children prepared well: the whole schoolyard was decorated with drawings about Peace...
Peace can be felt in our hearts...
..big smiles! Niteroi embraced the Peace Run...
..what would be a school-meeting without running?
...the kids enjoyed the Run tremendously...
...also the smallest participated....
....a confirmed Peace Run School!

..on the way to the next school we had a few encounters along the road...
..our team got enforcement...
...and we arrived at the "Colégio São Vicente de Paulo". The party was about to start....
...the greeting committee...
...and the young kids lined up for "High Five"...
...the school band welcomed us with a high class version of the Peace Run song...
...and more smiling faces...
The principal of the school carried the torch all the way to the gym hall.
...a few hundred children later we arrived at the sport hall. Over 800 children greeted us enthusiastically!
All classes were well lined up - great organisation!
The priest blessed the torch...
The conductor of the school band wrote the cords for the Peace Run Song..
...after the presentation we passed the torch to the classes for group pictures...
The school has two sessions a day - we finished the meeting in the morning and got ready for more kids in the afternoon!
Meanwhile we enjoyed a lunch break. It was Siesta-time in Niteroi...
36º C was too much for running!
...still we had a good time...
...and nice refreshments...
...high above the city of Niteroi we visited a statue dedicated to the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy...
...a few moments of peace...

"Colégio São Vicente de Paulo" reloaded! We arrived once more for the afternoon session at the school.
New kids, more smiles...
A real Deja Vu! We enjoyed the whole program a second time...
The principal lightened a beakon with the Peace Torch...
and a few hundred more kids...
Our song was a big success!
Again all the classes took group pictures with the torch...
