After a good morning run we reached Haskovo. A delegation of the "Hristo Smirnenski" school awaited us at the city sign....

...a very cheerful run through the city...

...as we arrived at the "Hristo Smirnenski" school, several hundred students were ready for the Peace Run!

...it took a while to pass the torch to all the kids....

...a final run around the school yard...

...the deputy mayor of Haskovo (right) and the principal of the school received the peace torch...

...we were treated with nice gifts...

...in the afternoon we reached Stara Zagora. Kids from the local sport school welcomed us...

The deputy mayor of Stara Zagora, herself a former top athlete who participated at the Olympic Games and many mayor championships, received the torch with kind words...

Thank you Stara Zagora for the warm welcome!

...the deputy mayor carried the torch through the whole city!

We arrived in Kazanluk.

The deputy mayor of Kazanluk received us at the city hall...

...bread and herbs are a really nice tradition everywhere in Eastern Europe....
