Luxemburg runners from Clervaux joined us for the first run of the day.
One was a bus driver, one a tram driver and the other a gardener.
Irina cooked a delicious meal for us last night and is still smiling in the morning.

The first meeting took place in Troisvierges (Luxemburg), close to the Belgian border.
We were received by representatives of the town.
A very kind and warm-hearted gentleman, who organized the meeting.
His colleague on the left gave a warm-hearted speech, congratulating the runners with their cause.

Four extra runners joined us for the remaining 7 kilometres to the Belgian border.
It was a taxing run, because we were a little pressed for time, the course was hilly and temperatures were rising!

Sunday morning in Belgium: all the cyclists come out!
Then we met coach Angelo Logrillo (left) and his great soccer team (under 12) of RFC Compogne.
We danced the World Harmony Run song to warm up (not that warming up was really necessary in this heat!)
We exchanged high fives.
All of them were big fans of the Belgium national soccer team, who came third in the recent World Cup.
And after the little ceremony they joined us running for three kilometres to the next town.
All very fit runners!
Nitish took over afterwards and carried the Torch to our next destination.
Naturally we kept meeting nice people along the way.
Our van always attracts attention.
We arrived in the beautiful village of La Roche-en-Ardennes, home to 4000 souls.
The castle where we had our meeting loomed over the small town.

Inside the castle we met the mayor Mr. Guy Gilloteaux, as well as four local runners from the village.
You could tell Mr. Gilloteaux was a very kind-hearted mayor.

This town was bombed during the second World War and completely rebuilt, as much as possible in the original style.
Rumor has it that the ghost of Countess Berthe of La Roche inhabits the castle. Every night during summer the town's people put on a show in a castle that tells the tragic story of Countess Berthe.

Grahak got lost three times this week (including today). We just wanted to make a point.
La Roche lies in the heart of the Ardennes, the Belgian mountains.
The runners joined us for 3.5K out of La Roche.
Our gratitude to the runners from Les Joyeuses Guibolles (meaning 'The Happy Legs') for their enthusiastic participation in the Peace Run.
One of the runners had brought his dog, Isa, who effortlessly rant the whole distance with us.
Onwards and upwards towards the next meeting in Ciney.
She is from Belgium, he is from Australia. We met them on the road.
Between the villages of Les Bannes and Haversin Abhinabha ran into a car rally race that takes place there every year, watched by all the villagers.
They also loved the Peace Run.
This driver made a detour to ask one of our runners what we were all about. He loved the concept.
In Ciney we were greeted by four runners and a cyclist from running club ARCH, who joined us for 4 kilometres.
The two older gentlemen in the middle are brothers and founders of the athletic club.

We finally arrived in the beautiful city of Namur, home to 100,000 inhabitants.
