Our last day in Belarus started with a meeing in Schuchin.
A cultural welcome on the main square....
..the city representative received the torch and greeted the team with kind words....
...a sweet cake...
...this is how we took care of it a little later on...
Thank you Schuchin for the heartfelt meeting!
Kids joined us on our run out of the city...
...our running took mainly place on the motorway. The roads in Belarus are in excellent condition and fortunately not so busy....
...running into Skidel...
...bread and salt...
...a warm welcome at the cultural centre...
...a great meeting with the full program...
Thanks Skidel for the fun!
Yasodevi and Olga enjoy their running (and talking) together...
Our last meeting brought us to Grodno. The sport reresentative and head of the Olympic committee of the region of Grodno received us in their head quarter...
...we received many nice gifts....
...a final group picture and then it was time for us to run to the border...
...a few symbolic steps...
...a scenic run through the old part of Grodno. The architecture in the city reflected already a strong influence of Poland...
...good bye Lenin!
..the last meters...
A big "Thank You" to our Belarus team! Thanks for the nice time and the friendship! See you gain soon!
