A happy plastic: take a closer look at this house. The pictures and decoration are not paint, but mosaic made from bottle caps and bottoms!
We were absolutely amazed by the creativity and inventiveness of this gentleman. See the palm tree on the left? It remains green all year even in minus -20C.
They on the other hand were very happy to hear about the Peace Run and hold the torch
Team has a moment of silence before running off
Our dear friend and helper in the traffic
spread the word
Danica is literally flying on the first few kilometers
Peace Run in the lead:)
Today we went off the main roads and enjoyed the countryside
Stopping by locals
So many Belorussian people we met on the road really embrace the idea of the Peace Run and put their best wishes for a brighter future into the Peace Torch
Peace is unstoppable!
As we ran by the kindergarten in Piarshay kids and teachers saw us and asked what we are doing, so we held a little ceremony for them
This is how we make friends
travel with style
We all loved the beautiful small villages on the way
What´s up? Never seen a Peace Run bus?
Lunch picknick
Need more cucumber?
Back to Peace Run business: after a short but intense rain we received a very warm welcome at the camp GALACTICA
Feeling the peace...
...and sweetness:)
Children made some beautiful paintings for peace
The local sport champs
Group shot in light rain
No Peace Run without running!
We hope to see you soon!
Back to ourselves and the road
Team arriving in Zaslavl
A very warm welcome by the city authorities
They even invited us to light the traditional fire that was going to happen later on in the evening
The founder of the city
Future Peace Runners
We also got a guided tour through the local museum
Natalya finally found perfect shoes...
Danica got her morning coffee...
...and Ondra could not believe to have FOUR plugs all to himself.
As the night set in we presented the Peace Run to the people of Zaslavl
Many came and held the torch
Pay attention to Ondra`s feet!
Sharing the light
What a day!! Thank you Zaslavl!
