Girls' team started really early today - we left at 6:20am to take part in a lovely yoga class at 7am in Swift Current, organized by Christine Ciona's Kiva Centre: "sacred space for personal growth and wellness"

Closing with sitting in the "energy circle" and imagining a current carrying peace, love and energy.

Then we all moved towards the Peace Pole in the Kinsmen Skate Park in Swift Current to meet more members of local community and media.

Singing Peace Run theme song...:)Don't we look like flower fairies and elves in these gorgeous flower beds?

Christine Ciona, very enthusiastic, charismatic, sincere and straightforward person, dedicates most of her life to the community service. In her words, she is a "joy guru and abundant living guide". Joy, abundance, love and light are her passion. She was surprised and deeply moved to be a recipient of The Torch-Bearer Award.

Absolutely charming Hutterite family - they emanated so much purity, clarity, goodness and simply inner beauty. So inspiring to spend some time with them.

In Regina, the Capital of Saskatchewan, Deputy Leader of the NDP Legislature, Trent Witherspoon with City Councillor Shawn Fraser and our host Jeremy MacDonald, Head of Fitness at the downtown YMCA, welcoming us to the Capital.

Trent then lead us on a 4km run through the Wascana Park, amazing but true...the biggest city park in North America.

Renae Grubb of Regina's Track and Trail Running Club organized a meeting with her team of athletes in training

Yatkara from Ukraine and photographer extraordinaire.. finally on the other side of the camera lense!

We enjoyed Rene's super enthusiastic company and then she even guided us to our dinner. Gratitude! Oh, and Rene is Regina's 'Peace Runner Ambassador' she welcomed our team of runners back in 2007

Our best meal in weeks (and we have some real good cooks on our team) was offered to us by Ethiopian family and owners of Selam Restaurant. 'Selam' means peace and we were basking in the generous hospitality of Alex, Leya and Ayni(holding torch with Alex). The vegetarian platter opened for all of us a new dimension of international feasting. Delicious, prepared and served with love, care and attention. Many many thanks for a perfect end of a perfect day!
