Kanala share some poetry from Sri Chinmoy.
...and finally on the road!
We had to take a detour in order to avoid some of the roads that were recently flooded.
Kanala makes the most of her last few days and last few miles.
Running into Esterhazy with escort.
Fire trucks are always a hit.
The Mayor of Esterhazy, Pauline Chewka receiving the torch
We were invited afterwards to visit the local historical museum.
The museam was a fascinating window into lives past.
Esterhazy Recreation Director Tracy Howard very kindly went over to the local supermarket and bought us all lunch.
Kanala getting back to traditional fabric making...
We dug into our RV and found some old tins. Not really these were on display in the museam.
The original iPod!!!
My Grandmother had one of these.
Cathy provided a fascinating tour of one of the last working flour mills in Canada.
She was teling us the miller would make a sample mix of flour and then have one of the local women bake a loaf of bread to see if it was any good. Getting the right blend of flour from all the various wheat from the surrounding farms was quite an art.
And then was running time again!
We stayed in Russell last night.
Finally, after an overwhelming flood of responses regarding our team "selfie" competition it turns out "The Good, the bad and the ugly" was the most popular image (above). Remarkably the other three images were tied for second place!!! Thank you to all the voters.
