Thank you to our friends in Toronto for providing accommodation and the most delicious food at Annapurna. Annapurna has been going strong for 44 years. We started our day with Chai, fruit platter, potato cakes and egg and cheese dosas.
Merci à nos amis(es) de Toronto de nous offrir de l’hébergement et la meilleure des nourriture au Restaurant Annapurna, Annapurna se porte à merveille après ses 44 années. Nous avons débuté notre journée avec le Chai, une assiette de fruit, gâteau aux patates et dosas (crêpes) aux oeufs et fromage.
Our first stop of the day was at the Vishnu Mandir Temple, Richmond Hill, ON.
Notre premier arrêt de la journée était au Temple Vishnu Mandir, Richmond Hill, Ontario.
The community gathered around the grounds outside the temple for a ceremony.
Les gens de la Communauté se sont rassemblés sur le terrain à l’extérieur du Temple pour une cérémonie.
Mayor, David Barrow, Enthusiasticly met with the peace run. He spoke of the initiatives for peace at the temple. As you come into the grounds is a beautiful peace garden with a statue of Gandhi and stones with powerful quotes carved into them.
Le Maire David Barrow a, avec grand enthousiasme rencontré les Coureurs de Paix. Il a parlé des initiatives pour la Paix au Temple. En entrant sur le terrain du Temple, il y a un magnifique jardin de Paix avec la statue de Gandhi et des pierres où sont sculpté des citations éloquentes.

A huge Statue of Hanuman greets you before you go through the doors of the temple.

Inside the temple is the Indian museum of Hindu civilization dedicated to world peace.
There is even a small Omni theater to experience the creation of the universe.
À l’intérieur du Temple on retrouve le Musée Indien de la Civilisation Hindou dédié à la Paix Mondiale. On y retrouve même un petit Omni-Théatre où on peut faire l’expérience de la Création de l’Univers.
Micheal joined us in the dining room where delicious food and chai had been prepared for us.

Heading for Brighton we stopped at The Big Apple in Colbourne.
En se dirigeant vers Brighton, nous nous sommes arrêté à «The Big Apple» (La Grosse Pomme) à Colbourne.
Passing the torch with Sylvia the manager of the Big Apple and many of the visitors. At least 5 bus loads of tourists were there to taste the apple pie. They have sold over 6 million pies to date. We bought some for the team.
Nous avons passé le Flambeau à Sylvia, directrice de «The Big Apple» et à plusieurs visiteurs. Au moins cinq autobus de touristes y étaient pour goûter la tarte aux pommes. Ils en ont vendu plus de six millions jusqu’à date. Nous en avons acheté pour l’Équipe.

Don from the local newspaper met us for an interview. He then rode his motorcycle down the road to catch a photo of us running.

Lake Ontario was a welcome finish to another great day.
