Portugal hosts the Peace Run 2013! We arrived in Porto for the start of the Run...
The old city welcomed us with beautiful weather...
...our team launched the Run...
...and we reached the "Escola Fernao Magalhaes" primary school...

...and we reached the "Escola da Fontinha"and the "Escolar Augusto Gil" school...
...sometimes the teachers have to run...

...we went on to the main square of Porto. In front of the city hall a group of children from the "Escolar Carlos Alberto" school awaited us...

Bikers from the Motor Bike Club Porto joined us for the whole day!

...we left the city hall...
...and crossed one of the many bridges of Porto. Two bridges have been built by the famous architect Eifel...
..as we crossed the bridge to Gaia, city representative Mr. Mario Fonte Manha welcomed us and took a few steps fro Peace!
...we arrive in the "Escola Joaquim Nicolau Almeida" school and were treated with a great lunch!
...our biker friends, too. It was quite funny for all of us to squeeze into the little chairs...
..and the kids watched us with big eyes...
...finally the meeting started!

..and we ran to the next meeting...
the "Escola Soares dos Reis" school awaited us.

...the kids prepaired nice gifts for us!
...and we reached our last meeting: the "Parque da Lavendeira" in Gaia.

Mr. Rui Cardozo, representative of the city of Gaia, and the "president da junta de St Marinha", Mr. Joaquim Leite received us warmly...
