We started our daily run this morning in the town where we had a good night's rest at the local high school in Winlock, Washington.
Near the center of town is a street named after Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run.
Sri Chinmoy Street is situated next to what they claim is 'The World's Largest Egg' in Winlock.
Our first team out was Puroga from Hungary, Arpan from New York, Pujari from California and....
Josef from Czech Republic.
The other men's team also took to the road early in the morning on another section of our route towards Seattle. Natabara has a great morning run.

Our Executive Director happily runs among the lush flowering greenery this morning.
Sarankhuu from Mongolia enjoys his last full run on this Peace Run so far. He has been with us since the beginning and will end in Seattle today. We will certainly miss him and his enthusiastic, witty and energetic spirit.

Over 100 enthusiastic children greeted us in the gymnasium at the Community Center summer Camp in Federal Way.

Our skits portray peaceful or non-peaceful behaviour that the children have to judge.
After our program we offered our Certificate of Appreciation and a colorful painting by Sri Chinmoy on the theme of peace and harmony.
The children then had a chance to run outside with the torch on a mini Peace Run.
The weather was perfect and the greenery was lush and inspiring, a perfect setting for peace.
As is our usual custom each child had an opportunity to hold the torch and make a wish for peace.

Our first stop in Seattle was a beautiful statue in Fremont of Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run, holding a torch and inspiring goodwill and peace to all those who pass by this wonderful setting on the water.
Everyone loves the chance to pose with the statue, especially when we have our own torch.
Some of our local guests kindly came to support the Peace Run with their goodwill and friendly smiles as they passed the torch amongst themselves by the statue.
We are so happy and grateful for such a great gathering of wonderful people who came to show their support for the Peace Run in this very idyllic setting by the Statue of Sri Chinmoy.
After the group photo we had a small group mini Peace Run for about a mile along the water.
Gratitude to Sri Chinmoy for the vision, the inspiration and for his support to all the Peace Runs and runners all along the way ever since he founded the Peace Run in 1987.
