Principal Edel Conlon greets the Peace Run team and offers a welcoming speech.

European coordinator Devashishu Torpy talks about the Peace Run and the journey the Peace Torch has made so far.

The international team of runners introduce themselves through the fun and engaging country-guessing game.

Children from the school's Yellow Flag shared with us their consistent endeavours in fostering an ethos of peace within their community. We were also treated to some lovely singing from various classes.

Peace begins with me...

We all got a chance to hold the Peace Torch and make a wish for world harmony.

And now, let us all run for peace together.

The team is invited to visit the beautiful display of peace drawings inside the school building.

We offer our certificate of appreciation to St Ronan's National School for their heartfelt participation in this year's Peace Run. We loved every moment.

Time to run towards the next school...

Just in time! At the half-way point, we are met by reinforcements. A group of excellent runners from St. Bernadette's Senior National School helped us carry the for the final 2.5km.

This was the second Peace Run in the span of a year for this student. When back in Moldova, she ran a section of the route as the Torch was passing through her town. Our Scottish runner Dhavala was there too at the time.

We offer our certificate of appreciation to St. Bernadette's Senior National School for their heartfelt participation in this year's Peace Run. It was truly wonderful.

Next stop?...not too far...we are greeted by more enthusiastic participants from the next door school; St. Bernadette's Junior National School. Good Afternoon Everyone...

Our afternoon meeting was with Lord Mayor Emma Blain, who kindly welcomed the team to the Dublin Mansion House. It was uplifting to discuss about the equal values we share in creating peace in our community. Lord Mayor Blain values the participation and promotion of sport within communities. She generously invited the team to partake in the 'Lord Mayor's 5 Alive Challenge' 4-mile race at St. Anne's Park the following morning.
