The Peace runners approach the Slovenian border from Hungary.

The torch is handed to one of our Slovenian coordinators, Tomas.

In Lendava we visit the School. This is a bilingual school - Slovenian and Hungarian.

THe Principal receives the torch and a Certificate from the Peace Run team.

In Lendava there is the tallest tower in all Slovenia: Stolp Vinarium Lendava.

The Mayor of Lendava is there to greet us.

The Sports Teacher at this school in Velika Polana, leads the team into the school grounds.

As we approach Odranci, a group of very enthusiastic schoolchildren are running towards us to meet us.

At the school in Odranci many students, teachers and parents are gathered to welcome the Peace Run.

The headmaster speaks very highly about the Peace Run and the importance of Peace in our world.

The second fastest 800 metre runner in Slovenia carries the torch.

What an inspiring school!

At Radenci City Hall the Mayor receives the torch.

The Mayor shows us around an art exhibit inside the City Hall.

These children are going to run with us for 6kms in the hot sun.

At the Sri Chinmoy Peace Bridge connecting Slovenia with Austria we are met by the Mayor of Gornja Radgona.
