Kayenta, AZ - Tuba City, AZ

We welcome the sun as we get ready to depart from the scenic town of Bluff.

Gratitude to Aaron for hosting us at his beautiful camping ground Tipi Village in Monument Valley. Here he is holding the Peace Torch as he send us off with a prayer for peace.

"Say 'Peace!!!'"

As we ran across Monument Valley many people expressed their own wishes for peace while holding the Peace Torch.

The Three Sisters and the three brothers.

The Kayenta Chapter House welcomed us with some refreshment and food as we ran passed their cozy town.

We share a moment of peace and reflection with some of the locals.

Craig didn't believe the torch was real until he held it. Peace, like the torch, is a tangible reality seated deep within each one of us.

The Peace Run team gives a certificate of appreciation to the Kayenta Chapter House in gratitude for their hospitality.

The local kids decided to join in the fun as we prepared to continue our journey west.

On the road

We were delighted to meet Kyle Sumatzkuku of the Hopi Tribe, who ran with us back in 2014.

After a hot day of running we finally made it to the Grand Canyon.
