Zlin

Reported by Abhejali Bernardová

On July 31st in honour of President Nelson Mandela´s International Day we visited a day camp in Zlin, Czech Republic.

We met 25 enthusiastic children and talk to them about peace and harmony and how each of us is the builder of our future.

We talked about Nelson Mandela´s values and also about our global relay for peace. The kids had to guess from our skits what was a good way to behave and not such a good way to create a peaceful world.

We had our Peace Run torch with us and everybody could hold the torch and make their wishes for a more peaceful world.

At the end we ran together around the world, getting stamps on each continent as a proof that we have visited.

We all enjoyed the afternoon and felt enriched and reminded ourselves again that it is us who make the world the place it is.

Torch carried by
Abhejali Bernardová (Czech Republic), Neelabha Šenkýřová (Czech Republic).
