We said good bye to our Mongolian sister, Uuganaa 🙋‍♀️. After one month running with Peace Run Team, Uuganaa had to get back to her home in Ulaanbaatar. Thank you Uuganaa for such beautiful singing at the ceremonies.

Finally we made it to The Land of Enchantment. Welcome to New Mexico

The vast open road...

We took a small break to cool off at the marvelous Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM. 😍

Our first ceremony of the day was in the afternoon at  "ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN" park. We had no idea what to expect. As we arrived at the front gates and saw the sculptures, we knew this was going to be a unique experience. We were greeted by Kevin and his wife Jennifer.

It's hard to explain just how special this place is.  Imagine a small origami creation....and then enlarge it in your mind. Each one is simply magical. They are created originally in paper and them artistically reproduced in folded metal.

Kevin Box invited us for a personal guided tour which was such a treat. He and his wife are so eloquent and expressed the meaning and vision for each piece.

This was one of our favorites, a bunny on the back of a turtle holding a carrot out in front . It was so charming.

Peeking into the studio.

This pegasus was unfolded and the pattern created can be seen about the display on the wall. It's like a mandala.

Kevin and Jennifer Box are the owners and artists of the Box Studio. We were so happy to have their inspiring garden dedicated as a Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossom.

Sunamita offered gift after gift in gratitude to them both for all the work they do to celebrate peace, love and joy through their art.

Out of the blue, Kevin offered each of the team with a garland that he brought back from Thailand.

We all took a moment to make a silent prayer for peace.

We were joined by Kevin and Jennifers friends that was all peace lovers.

We has such an amazing meal at the Annapurna Vegetarian Cafe. All the staff were so kind and friendly.  We love Indian food and it was the perfect meal to celebrate our arrival in Santa Fe.

Special thanks to Sunamita, our local Santa Fe coordinator, for creating an unforgettable day that we will treasure forever.
