Reported by Dipavajan Renner 87.0 km

We left Herzegovina and woke up in Bosnia. The primary school in Jablanica was our first task...

...the kids lined up...

High Five...

...and the school choir welcomed us...

...the mayor received the torch...

...and the kids passed it on...

Thank you Jablanica for this really nice meeting!

...a short symbolic run...

...and we said farewell...

In Konjic runners awaited us.

...kids from the secondary school gave us a musical welcome.

...a brief presentation...

..the students performed dances from different parts of the world for us.

We reached Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

...a short stroll through the old part of Sarajevo.

..the Baščaršija - the old city...

...we visited historic places...

...and we bought no carpets...

Our first meeting in Sarajevo brought us to Mr. Željko Komšić, one of the three members of the Presidental Board of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Željko Komšić received the torch and gave us a warm welcome.

We presented the Peace Run and also sang our official song for him.

Thank you for the welcome!

Our final meeting of the day brough us to an old friend of the Peace Run: Mr. Valentin Inzko, High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Valentin Inzko gave a very warm speach and spent a long time with us discussing Peace Topics in Bosnia.

...some gifts...

Thank you for welcoming and supporting the Peace Run!
