Today we had many exciting places to visit, so our team split up in order to make it to everyone! First for the mens team was Jefferson-Houston School.

Having the teachers run with the torch is sure to delight everyone, particularly thre children!

Thank you so much to Jefferson-Houston School for your enthusiastic participation in the Peace Run!!

Every day we make so many new friends!

Then it was time to put in a few miles before lunch.

Arpan enjoying another beautiful spring day in Virginia..

Harita out on the road early..

Abhejali heading in to the first ceremony of the day for the womens team.

We were thrilled to be greeted by the Cora Kelly School kindergarten students.

The kids were so adorable and enthusiastic!

A moments peace...

They all patiently held hands in a circle waiting for the chance to make a wish for peace.

Next the kids all ran with the torch in pairs, passing it to an eagerly waiting pair on the other side of the courtyard. Many of the kids were extremely nervous beforehand, and so proud of themselves when they accomplished the brave feat!

One big happy family!

Thank you so much to the wonderful school councellor Suzette Adams for so enthusiastically welcoming us and making the visit truly memorable. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The next stop for the mens team was Woodbridge Rotary, where we were warmly welcomed and given the opportunity to share the ideals of the Peace Run with local Rotarians. It is always inspiring for us to hear of all the interesting and inspiring ways the Rotary Clubs around the world serve the community.

The last ceremony of the day was the Falmouth YMCA.

Several of the children here remembered the Peace Run from previous years, which is always fun!

The kids were super enthusiastic and full of joy, so we had a lot of fun running around the carpark!

Pictured here is our new friend, camp councellor Krystal Medeiros, who helped to make our visit a great experience for all!

A big thank you to the Falmouth YMCA, what a great end to a beautiful day of running and making many new friends in Virginia!
