With the inspiration of Mayor Pro-Tem Peter Ives' kind words, the first team prepares to start running for the day.

After the wonderful meeting at City Hall the women's team headed back to the lovely Santa Fe Sage Inn where we stayed last night. This beautiful Inn proudly took a step for world peace today by becoming a Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossom Inn.

On the road again we run past the Echo Amphitheater which is a natural cave formation from millions of years of underwater erosion.

The incredible acoustics from inside the dome attract many people who pass by this huge natural wonder.

Sandro enjoys the dry vastness of northern New Mexico and the wonderful scents of sage, juniper and pine.

Antara-Prabhat is getting warmed up.

Now he is really on the move.

John, all the way from Santa Fe, stopped along the way to hold the torch and make a wish for peace

The pride of the Peace Run

A car full of enthusiastic travellers stops to offer their kind wishes for peace.

We were very happy to make a new friend, Andrea, who offered us much encouragement and support for our journey!

The natural sulphur springs are very hot and next to an icy cold San Juan River.

Peter happened to meet us in Pagosa Springs this evening and delighted us all by recognizing Sri Chinmoy's photo on the side of our R.V. He also offered us a kind and unexpected donation, reflecting his exemplary kindness and friendship.

The women's team is grateful for their refreshing dip in the natural hot springs.

We are extremely grateful to France Kudelski, owner of High Country Lodge in Pagosa Springs, for offering three very comfortable rooms in her beautiful hotel for some of our team members.

We usually cook our own meals which most of the time turn out to be quite tasty. Sarvodaya(Ukraine) and Dennis(Luxembourg) made some angel hair pasta and homemade Pesto sauce.
