In the middle of the morning we arrive at Manzoni Primary School in Bergamo
This school receives around 30 children from Belarus each year in the summer
Our second school is Don Bosco Primary School in Bergamo
We are invited for lunch with the children
At the Palazzo Frizzoni in the centre of Bergamo we are welcomed by Council President Marzia Marchesi
The city is having a festival of Peace - hence the Picasso peace bird
The torch finally arrives in Brescia
Runners from the local running club - Corrixbrescia – receive the torch. Once a week they organise a run around the city attended by 300 people. They aso have a Gruppo Guida - a Guide Group that assists blind people in running races
