From 1991 to 2007, Sri Chinmoy drew millions of birds which he referred to as Dream-Freedom-Peace-Birds or Soul-Birds.

The soul, like a bird, flies in the sky of God’s Infinity. When we think of birds flying in the sky, we are reminded of our own soul-bird flying in the sky of Infinity.”

Dal 1991 al 2007, Sri Chinmoy ha disegnato milioni di uccelli, che ha chiamato "Dream-Freedom-Peace-Birds" (parola-immagine intraducibile; le singole parole sono: sogno, libertà, pace, uccelli). Sono anche chiamati "Soul-Birds", 'uccelli di Pace'. “Per me, gli uccelli hanno un significato molto speciale; incarnano la libertà [...]. Sento che dentro ognuno di noi c'è un'esistenza interiore che chiamiamo anima. L'anima, come un uccello, vola nel cielo dell'Infinità di Dio. Quando pensiamo agli uccelli che volano nel cielo, ci viene in mente il nostro uccello-anima che vola nel cielo dell'Infinito."
