Our first visit for the day is the Saturday morning Farmers Markets. An opportunity to buy some fresh fruit and veg, meet the local growers and browse the craft shops.

Lunch by the Columbia river in Brewster. We had a delicious salad with quinoa using fresh greens and vegetables we'd bought from the markets.

Tom Popalawski, the town councillor comes to meet us informally to have a chat about our adventures. Grand Coulee has two surrounding towns Coulee Dam and Electric City all with their own councils. Tom enjoyed some cake and ice cream with us it felt like a family gathering. Thank you Tom it was a memorable gathering.
We celebrate Stota and Daulot's birthdays which are around this time and fairly close together. Happy Birthdays!!! We've had so much fun getting to know the area in Washington state which you both know and love. Thank you for sharing that love with us.

Rugging up some of us went to see the laser show at the Dam. It tells the history of the area and how the dam came to be built. A most fascinating story. A huge undertaking that produces a lot of power and irrigation for people. An educational and entertaining end to a full day. A big thank you to everyone on the team and all the smiling faces we met.
