The first school we met in Spain, the San José Ikastetxea in Hondarribia really made an extra effort to welcome us. They had the kids placed in groups around the city to greet us and run with us.

Leaving San Sebastián around 1 pm, we only had about 140 km more to run! Our kilometers were mixed between busy roads and quiet climbing hills with beautiful vistas that infused the runners with peace and sustain us for the ongoing journey.
