The Peace Run joined the popular Earth Day Festival held in Union Square, New York City. Dozens of people - including schoolchildren, environmental activists and concerned citizens - held the Torch and made a wish for peace. Many also took home magnet cards with inspirational messages from Listen to Nature: Living in Harmony with the Earth, a book of writings by Peace Run founder Sri Chinmoy.

The team from Le Botaniste restaurant and their colorful, healthy food are spreading peace every day.

Another uplifting stall-holder at Earth Day. Interactive Theatre to raise awareness for environmental issues.
