Thank you to the CVJM for providing comfortable accommodation and breakfast for our weary runners

Our first appointment is at the Rudolf Steiner School in Schluchtstraße, Wuppertal

This school excels in artistic activities

The headmaster, Raphael Treß, receives the torch

Each runner is presented with a present of fruits and snacks

On we run ....

An avenue of arches await us at the Grundschule Peterstraße in Wuppertal

The world is in the hands of the children

Messages of peace float high into the sky

Mayor Bernhard Marewski of the city of Leverkusen welcomes us.

We are invited to rest awhile at the Gurdwara as we run into Cologne

The Gurdwara is the Sikh temple

We all receive some prasad

And tea!

Peter Kron, the Chairman of the Sports Committee, greets us

Natasha (centre) tracked us down. She had seen a short film about the Peace Run a few days ago in Aachen and when she heard the run was in Germany she was determined to join us.

We reach our destination - the Maritime Hotel in Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger Allee, Bonn. Thank you for providing accommodation and breakfast!
