The first come-back of Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run took place in Musashino City, Tokyo.

The first program was at Musashino Red Cross Preshool. The children showed us koinobori, or flying carps to celebrate Children's Day.
最初の訪問先は武蔵野赤十字保育園。こどもの日にみんなで作ったこいのぼりを披露してくれました。
We were all impressed with how cute and well-done the koinobori carps were!
メンバー一同、かわいらしいこいのぼりに見ほれてます。

We were grateful to everyone at Musashino Red Cross Preschool, we presented a certificate and a framed Jharna Kala painting by the founder Sri Chinmoy.
赤十字保育園のみなさんに感謝をこめて、園長先生に感謝状と提唱者シュリ・チンモイの描いた絵を贈呈します。
At lunch time we visited Yokogawa Musashino FC, a local football club. The chairman of the club, Mr Yoshio Shiono, ran with us around their soccer field.
お昼に訪ねたのは地元横河武蔵野フットボールクラブ。理事長の塩野芳男さんがお忙しい中ホームグランドでトーチを手にメンバーと走ってくださいました！（選手の方々は勤務中でした。）
The Chairman very kindly offered us a nice room for us to have lunch and take a rest. It was a saviour for us under the summerly heat! Thank you very much!!
炎天下で走るランナーを気遣ってくださり、昼食をとる部屋を提供してくださいました。また、クラブのエンブレムも外国人ランナーにプレゼントしてくださいました。親切なお心遣いに感謝いたします！シュリ・チンモイ作の「Change」と題されたジャーナ・カラ画を贈呈。
Now we are off to Musashino City Hall.
午後は武蔵野市役所へ。
Mr Morimasa Murakami, Mayor of Musashino City, welcomed the runners and the torch (with his penguin friend).
邑上守正武蔵野市長が待っていてくださいました。
The Torch Bearer Award was given to the Mayor, the representative of citizens of Musashino, for the city's ongoing progress in culture, education, living environment, and humanitarian activities.
文化・教育・住環境・各種支援活動などで市民のよりよい意識・生活を育む武蔵野市を讃え、その代表である邑上市長さんにトーチベアラー賞が授与されました。
A group of district welfare officers, who were there for a special campaign, made a big circle with everyone else and one by one held the torch.
市役所前でキャンペーン実施中の民生委員のみなさんも輪になって一人一人トーチを握ります。
Everybody with the Mayor. The Jharna Kala painting we presente to the Mayor is entitled 'Perfection'. We hope it will be displayed where visiting citizens can see it.

The Mayor is a runner, and very happily joined the team for a quick run around the City Hall!
