...through the beautiful Belgian countryside.

We stopped briefly in Tongeren, where they had a religious festival taking place once every seven years.
Everywhere in Belgium there are big cathedrals and churches.
This kind-hearted lady stopped our runner on the road and gave us home-made honey and sweets.
And when we were parched with thirst because we had forgotten to bring water, this young lady and her mother appeared out of the blue and bought water for us. Angels do exist!
Our first and only meeting on this easy Sunday was at scouting club Sint-Michiel Anne Frank (SMAF) in Hasselt.
