We assemble by the beautiful lake in La Casa de Campo, a large park in Madrid
From there we run into the centre of Madrid with a police escort
This the old part of Madrid, full of history
People cheered as we ran down the main road
Thank you to the two teachers who accompanied the children and ran with tremendous enthusiasm: Beatriz Frías (right) teacher of physical education and Marta, teacher of Mathematics and Spanish.
At Puerta del Sol we meet Ricardo Iglesias, the Head of the External Relations Service (Jefe de Servicio de Relaciones Externas) GENERAL COORDINATION OF THE MAYOR of Madrid, COORDINACIÓN GENERAL DE LA ALCALDÍA de Madrid
Our final meeting is at the Town Hall of Getafe with the Sports Council of Getafe.
