This is Jacob from Chicago who is riding his bike from Portland, Maine to Astoria, Oregon. He rides about 80 miles a day on this monumentous journey. Thanks for stopping and holding the Peace Torch.

Lois and her daughter MacKenzie from the Corson/Sioux News-Messenger gave us a tour of the McLaughlin fire station.
MacKenzie is the youngest fire fighter in the county and co-editor of the News-Messenger.
Tonight we stayed at the Moo Dairy Ranch. The owners Charlotte and Donny were so nice to talk to and their 800 acres a piece of paradise on earth.
The runners have a lot of international culinary talent. This evening the women's outdid themselves!
We also had an authentic South Dakota experience with a tornado that was gusting through the area. Up at 4 am and ready to go to the cellar for shelter, fortunately the storm blew away from the Moo Dairy Ranch. The black sky, gusting winds and lightning were kind of cool to watch though, and gave a sense of nature's enormous power.
