A huge thank you to Hyvärilän Nuorisokeskus and to Nurmes for accommodating the Peace Runners!

There was a small school, but a big welcome in Vihtasuon koulu...

The kids helped us with acting out the World Harmony Run song, which also warmed them up during the cold morning...

A painting which represents world harmony was given by Jan Klaile...

Even the teachers enthusiastically made a wish for Peace, Joy and Harmony for the rest of the world...

On our long runs sometimes we do speed work-outs...

Nunnanlahden koulu requested us to present our whole program about peace in English, so the kids have an international experience...

In Kolin koulu we started our presentation with the peace run song...

The nuns are extremely magnanimously accommodating the Peace runners in their beautiful guest house inside the tranquil premises of the convent...

We attend eveneng mass...

The beautiful icons are mostly painted by Greek and Russian icon-painting masters. However, the paintings surrounding the arch are painted by an Finnish master of the trade...

We have prepared a short performance of some songs about Christ for the nuns and the volunteers. They are a really compassionate audience and receive them thankfully...

This magnificent icon of Christ has actually been painted on cloth, imported from Greece and fastened on the ceiling using a special technique...
