Welcome to Hellas! Greece welcomed the Peace Run 2016!
...the official torch passing to Greece...
...first steps...
..the North of the country is something totally different than what you would expect from Greece: high mountains, oak trees and picturesque villages high up in the hills...
...it was a day of old stone bridges...
...wild?
...not really...
...when I am grown up I want to become a Peace Run van...
..we reached Konitsa...
...remote Canyons...
...the famous old bridge in Konitsa...
...we took a swim - the water temperature was about 6˚C...
...lunch time in the nature...
...new friends...
...we passed through Kalpaki...
...a quick stop at the local school...
...it was a very heartfelt meeting...
...once around the school yard...
Thank you "Frontistirio Vasis" for the nice meeting!
...we carried on: a long, long running stretch...
...we reached Ioannina. Some great sweets ended our day!
