The roosters wake us up in Pedra Badejo

Breakfast by the sea.

All the children join us for a mass run through town.

A downhill stampede.

The ultramarathoner in blue and read is nicknamed 'The Eagle'.

As we run several schools are on the roadside to greet us. The children join us for a kilometre of running.

On this part of the island we start to see some verdant valleys and intensive farming.

Daniel from Portugal has run almost every step of the Cabo Verde Peace Run!

Nivedak from Italy accepts a ride.

We arrive at the National Stadium and run a victory lap.

Inacio Carvalho, the manager of the stadium, greets us.

The owner of the stadium holds the torch.

We finished our day with a swim in Praia, the capital city. Our route has made a full loop.
