Today we were thrilled to have the opportunity to visit four schools in and around Dubrovnik with our International team. Samalya from Germany led the way to our first school, Os Antuna Masle, in Orasac.
Danas smo bili jako uzbuđeni jer smo imali priliku posjetiti četiri škole u Dubrovniku i okolici sa našim internacionalnim timom. Samalya iz Njemačke vodio je tim do prve škole, O.Š. Antun Masle, u Orašcu.
We were invited to enjoy some great cultural performances by the children.
Uživali smo u divnim nastupima u kojima su sudjelovala djeca.

Our local coordinator, Gordana, presents a certificate and some artwork by Peace Run Founder, Sri Chinmoy, to Kornelisa Koncul on behalf of the school. The picture on the right is entitled "Harmony helps us to fulfil all our sweet dreams".
Naš lokalni koordinator, Gordana, prezentira Kornelisi Koncul, predstavnici škole, plaketu i neki od umjetničkih radova Sri Chinmoya, osnivača Utrke mira. Slika na desnoj strani nosi naslov "Harmonija nam pomaže da ispunimo sve svoje slatke snove ".

We all went outside so the children could join millions of children all over the world by holding the torch and sharing their prayers, hopes and dreams for peace.
Mi smo izašli van kako bi se djeca pridružila milionima djece širom svijeta držeći baklju i dijeleći svoje molitve, nade i snove za mirom.

Our programme this time was outside and there were many enthusiastic chldren to greet us.
Naš program ovaj put bio je ispred škole gdje se okupilo pregršt djece kako bi nas pozdravili.
The school choir began the programme by performing very nicely for us.
Školski zbor započeo je program lijepom izvedbom za nas.
We once again offered Sri Chinmoy's artwork to the school. It was received by the very supportive school representative, Zrinka Capor, and two of the children. The painting on the right is entitled "Imagine the beauty of an Earth without tears".
Još jednom predstavili smo umjetnički rad Sri Chinmoya školi. Primila ga je predstavnica škole, Zrinki Capor, sa dvoje djece. Slika sa desne strane nosi naslov "Zamisli ljepotu Zemlje bez suza".

Jadranka Dabrović, i ostali divni predstavnici škole, primili su tri umjetnička rada osnivača Utrke mira, Sri Chinmoya, koji nose naslove ( s lijeva na desno) "San", "Svjetska Harmonija" i "Mir hrani djecu".
We went outside and planted an olive tree as a Peace Tree together. Pictured here are Abhinabha from the Netherlands, Vishvesha from Croatia, and Jadranka Dabrovic representing the school. May this tree grow large and strong reminding us all of the importance of cultivating peace in our own lives.
Otišli smo van posaditi maslinovo drvo kao drvo mira. Na slici su Abhinabha iz Nizozemske, Vishvesha iz Hrvatske i Jadranka Dabrovic predstavnica škole. Neka ovo drvo izraste veliko i snažno podsječajući nas sve na važnost kultiviranja mira u vlastitim životima.

We were met on the way to our final school of the day, Os Lapad, by many enthusiastic running children!
Na našem putu ka našoj zadnjoj školi, O.Š. Lapad susreli smo puno entuzijastične djece u trku!
As we got closer children were waving flags along the route to welcome us.
Kako smo se približavali djeca su mahala sa zastavicama da nas pozdrave.
The local Bishop, his holiness Mate Uzinić, was also waiting to greet us and offer his blessings to the Peace Run.
Lokalni biskup, njegova svetost Mate Uzinić, također nas je dočekao, pozdravio i blagoslovio Utrku mira.
Much to our delight, Bishop Uzinić even ran the torch into the school!

Os Lapad School representative, Mirjana Kaznacic, was delighted to receive the Peace Torch from Bishop Uzinić.
Predstavnica O.Š.Lapad, Mirjana Kaznačić, oduševljeno je primila baklju mira od Biskupa Uzinića.
The Bishop gave a very sincere and heart-felt speech saying that World Peace can only be built by starting with ourselves. He said we have to respect our parents, brothers, sisters, every person we meet on the street, on social networks, and those who are weaker than ourselves. He shared his wishes for peace to be planted in every human heart and extended to all people. The children enthusiastically applauded his message, as did the Peace Runners!
Biskup je dao vrlo iskren govor od srca, kazavši da Svjetski Mir možemo izgraditi samo ako počnemo od sebe. Kazao je da moramo uvažavati naše roditelje, braću, sestre, svaku osobu koju susretnemo na cesti, na društvenim mrežama, i one koji su slabiji od nas. Podjelio je svoje želje mirom da se posade u svako srce i prošire na sve ljude. Djeca su oduševljeno pljeskala njegovoj poruci, baš kao i trkači Utrke Mira!
We planted a Peace Tree in the school grounds with the help of the Bishop and the children.
Posadili smo drvo mira u školskom dvorištu uz pomoć biskupa i djece.

We concluded the ceremony by offering to Os Lapad School our certificate of appreciation and two paintings by Sri Chinmoy entitled "Love the children" and "World-Harmony".
Završili smo ceremoniju darivavši O.Š. Lapad sa zahvalnicom i dvijema slikama od Sri Chinmoya sa naslovima "Voli djecu" i "Svjetska Harmonija".
This young girl very sincerely asked Harita how she can join the Peace Run Team. We hope she can run with us in the not too distant future!
Ova djevojčica vrlo iskreno je pitala Haritu kako se može priključiti timu Utrke mira. Nadamo se da će nam se pridružiti u ne tako dalekoj budučnosti!
