Topoľčany - Myjava

Reported by Andrej Višněvský, Varunavi Glabnikova 72.0 km

We left Topolčany at 9 o'clock in leisurely pace for the first meeting in the village Bojná.

Z Topoľčian sme vyrazili o 9tej hodine ráno v pohodovom tempe na naše prvé stretnutie v obci Bojná.

The locals of the village Bojná welcomed us very warmly in front of the municipal office and the Archaeological Museum of Great Moravia.

Obyvatelia obce Bojná nás veľmi vrelo privítali pred budovou Obecného úradu a Archeologickým múzeom Veľkej Moravy.

We passed on the peace torch to the mayor Mgr. Jozef Stankovsky, PhD. and then to the local kids.

Mierovú pochodeň sme odovzdali starostovi Mgr. Jozefovi Stankovskému, PhD. a potom miestnym deťom.

Many smiles.

Veľa úsmevov!

The mayor took us through the Archaeological Museum of Great Moravia.

Pán starosta nás previedol Archeologickým múzeom Veľkej Moravy.

In the museum we were introduce with the historical language of Great Moravia, we did not hesitate and wrote Peace Run.

V múzeu sme sa zoznámili s historickým jazykom Veľkej Moravy - neváhali sme a napísali sme Peace Run.

At 12 o'clock we arrived in the village of Radošiná, where representatives of the city were waiting for us.

Presne o 12tej hodine sme dorazili do obce Radošiná, kde nás čakali zástupcovia mesta.

A moment of silence and peace in our hearts.

Chvíľka ticha a mieru v našich srdciach.

The locals baked a perfect poppy strudel for us, which came in handy in the next kilometers.

Miestni obyvatelia pre nás upiekli dokonalý makový závin, ktorý nám prišiel vhod počas ďalších kilometrov.

Perfect team cooperation is a natural part of every day. So that we don't have to stop at cars, we got water bottles directly on our hands.

At the beginning of the town of Pieštany, the Vice Mayor Michal Bezak.

Na začiatku mesta Piešťany nás čakal v bežeckom oblečení zástupca primátora Ing. Michal Bezák.

Accompanied by the police, the local athletic club Piešťany also ran with us

Ďalej, spolu so sprievodom polície, s nami bežal aj miestny atletický klub Piešťany.

Piešťany is a spa town.

Piešťany sú kúpeľné mesto.

It was a long and beautiful run through the park in front of the town hall.

Bol to dlhý a krásny beh cez park až pred radnicu.

Inserting a peace wish into the torch with a smile on faces.

Vkladanie mierového želania do pochodne s úsmevom na tvári.

An important part of this ceremony was the presentation of the torch bearer award to Mr. Judr. Roman Kvasnica for his lifelong efforts to achieve a better and more peaceful society in Slovakia

We also gave the Peace run certificate to the mayor for accepting the Peace Run in the town of Pieštany.

Tiež sme odovzdali ďakovný list pánovi primátorovi za prijatie Mierového behu v meste Piešťany.

We had a few minutes to talk to Mr. Judr. Roman KVasnica about his interesting experiences in his work.

Mali sme niekoľko minút a porozprávali sme sa s pánom JUDr. Romanom Kvasnicom o jeho zaujímavých skúsenostiach z oblasti práva.

This enthusiastic barefoot runner joined us for one day and ran more than 30 km.

Running does not know obstacles.

Beh nepozná prekážky.

Running harmonizes our whole being, our hearts, minds and souls laugh at one moment, and then we feel sincerely happy.

Beh harmonizuje celú našu bytosť; naše srdce, myseľ i duša sa smejú v jeden okamih, a vtedy sa cítime úprimne šťastní.

The next meeting took place in the town of Vrbová.

Predposledné stretnutie sa konalo v meste Vrbové.

While singing the song Peace Run, we experienced a very interesting echo effect due the shape of the walls around us.

Pri speve piesne Peace Run sme zažili veľmi zaujímavý efekt ozveny.

Big ice cream on a hot day, however, we still had 30 km to Myjava.

Zaslúžená zmrzlina počas horúceho dňa, ale náš ešte čakalo 30 km do Myjavy.

Our driver (by the way a great runner) Pataka unfortunately parked in the wrong place in front of the police station, so he had to pay penalty 10 Euros. Also this situation are coming in our lives, but it's not a reason not to smile.

We are already running to Brezova Pod Bradlom. Those with sharp eyes can see the famous Milan Rastislav Štefánik Mound on top of the hill.

A už pribiehame do Brezovej pod Bradlom. Tí, čo majú ostrý zrak, môžu vidieť v pozadí známu Mohylu Milana Rastislava Štefánika.

Passing on the Peace Run leaflet sometimes requires acrobatic skills.

Podávanie letáčika Mierového behu občas vyžaduje akrobatické zručnosti.

Miestni obyvatelia Brezovej pod Bradlom.

The ceremony took place in the square and was also attended by restaurant customers sitting outside.

Our team member Himadri from Hungary took a picture with the uniform of Hungarian soldiers who had moved in this area in the past.

Náš člen tímu Himadri z Maďarska sa vyfotil s uniformou maďarských vojakov, ktorí sa v tejto oblasti v minulosti pohybovali.

Tiredness but always smile.

Únava, ale stále úsmev - ako vždy.
