Good morning Fažana! We got up early this morning to be on time to catch our ferry to beautiful Island Brijuni!
Although weather was cloudy...
...we were very happy because of our boat trip...
Brijuni Islands are a group of fourteen small islands which are located in the northern part of Adriatic Sea.
They are very famous for its stunning untouched nature and history...
We took a train...
...and enjoyed a beautiful scenic ride...
The interesting thing about Brijuni is that they offer a lot of historical and architecture heritage..
... but also numerous of different animal species which were gifted from around the world to Josip Broz Tito.
As Istria is known for its olive oil and olive trees, you can visit here the 1600 years old olive tree...
The main message of the Peace Run is very simple: if we we can run together in peace and harmony, then we can also live together in peace and harmony!
We had a short presentation of the Peace Run ...
Our new friends passes the torch around and each offers a private prayer or a wish for peace.

We had meeting with Mum of Gianluca who lives in Ireland but was born in Croatia.
His Mum drove from Rovinj to Pula to meet us!

All weekend we spent visiting beautiful nature parks in Istria!
We had a 6km running along quiet coastal roads while the van took the main road.
...and some of us, while waiting, were enjoying nature wander-wind
No mater what nationality we are, what religion we belong to, what skin color or size we are, or simply how different we are, if we are kind to each other we create a beautiful place for living...
