Misty morning today...really good running conditions :) Not too hot.

Harita runs a few miles as we make our way from Clarion to Kane.

Edgars takes over from there...

Mahasatya on 66 Route.

Then Dalibor...

Todorka picks up the pace.

A moment of silence before Gianluca begins his leg...

And next is Anya...

Along the way we meet some inspired peace lovers.

To welcome us in Kane is a lovely group of young children and their parents, arranged by Mayor Brandy Schimp.

The country guessing game is always so much fun.

Salil is from Australia, but lives in a country with a statue of a woman holding a torch. Can you guess??

Harita with a New Zealand fan. The Kiwi is his favourite bird.

One of our traveling companions just happens to be a Kiwi bird.

He knows where Ukraine is :)

We sing the World Harmony Run song led by Edgars on the Ukulele.

Then we add some actions to the song.

Run, run, run, run, run, run....

Everyone holds the Torch and makes a wish for peace. Yay!!

Mayor Brandy Schimp sharing some words of inspiration with us and explaining where we will run.

Where will you go on the Peace Run when you grow up?

Mayor Schimp is joined by her amazing family, Sophia, Evelyn, Henry and Dad Lance.

Smile! Not cheese, but peace! makes for a big smile.

Before we start running we try to feel peace inside our heart.

Mayor Brandy Schimp leads the way.

Children are delighted as we reach our running goal.

Oneness makes us stronger :)

Thank you guys for carrying the Torch with us through Kane. We will now carry your wishes for peace through the States :) And thank you to Mayor Brandy Schimp and the City of Kane for make us feel so welcome.

Salil takes on the afternoon running shift and carries the Torch through beautiful sceneries.

Team work is key :)

Ruslana is ready to begin her running log.

Fred is not only an all around heating and cooling guy but a runner as well!

Dalibor reflects on the peace he is about to carry along his running route.

Rain is fun.

Rain is joy.

We arrive at our destination; Bradford, the home of Zippo lighters.

The Zippo staff makes us feel at home with these Peace Run cookies. WOW :)

We were amazed and thrilled when we saw these Zippo lighters with the Peace Run logo on them. Each runner was gifted one of them. What better tool to use for lighting our Peace Torch?

Now we will all have lighters for the Peace Torch.

City Administrator Eric Taylor was instrumental in planning and organizing our amazing visit here in Bradford.

We are given a tour of their brilliant museum.

Katie was our excellent tour guide.

Thank you to all the Zippo staff, Mayor Tom Riel, police officers and with a special thank you to City Administrator Eric Taylor. You represent Bradford in sharing your own hopes for peace. And your warmth and generosity made our visit there in Bradford incredibly memorable and special.

Last bit of running for the day. We reach Salamanca, NY.

The kids at the Salamanca Youth Center greet us with big smiles

Singing and performing the actions for the World-Harmony Run song :)

Everyone pitches in to find that last country :)

Fastest slow-motion race in the world. Who will win?

Peace begins with me.

Reading a poem about peace.

Group photo with everybody :) Thank you to Markie and the staff at the Salamanca Youth Center! This artwork by Sri Chinmoy is entitled: Universal Brotherhood.

The children show us their fantastic artworks. Peace can be expressed in infinite ways. Well done:)

Olympic Games 2024 in Salamanca. Who will claim the gold medal?

Table tennis final.

Tonight's accommodation in Ellicottville, NY. Nature's wonders.

It was a pleasure meeting Mayor John Burrell and Supervisor Matthew McAndrew who joined us for dinners at the fabulous Gentle Thunder Farm in Ellicottville. It was lovely to learn about their local community. Thank you both for coming to greet the peace runners and for sharing your love of peace and friendship with us. Peace starts with people like you.

Thank you also to our host Annie Widger for welcoming the Peace Run again with such an open and cheerful heart. It is special when you can come somewhere and feel at home. We loved catching up with you.
