Our last day of the Peace Run starts at Nirpal and Nidrahara's beautiful home in Stamford, Connecticut. We were generously treated to a most delicious and healthy breakfast full of fruits and vegetables. One could not wish for more. Nirpal shared some stories about Thomas Jefferson while the girls sang a song composed by Sri Chinmoy for Jefferson.

Nidrahara and Nirpal's dogs pay us a visit. They were super friendly and cute.

Shanti and Nirpal share a real oneness-bond.

These fine animals embrace the Peace Run,  and vice-versa.

The men's team prepare our final lunch.

Mario has been caring for and working on Nirpal and Nidrahara's garden for many years. He was happy to hold the Peace Torch and share his wishes and goodwill.

We stared our final run at the border of Connecticut and New York State.

... New York City here we come :)

The women's team met with David from the Westmore News in Port Chester who was happy and inspired to cover our journey for his local news.

We met many happy peace lovers who were delighted to hold the Peace Torch and hear about our journey around the US and Canada.

Matt, a local runner, happily joined the team for a few hundred meters carrying the Peace Torch.

First things first...

Another peace runner. "Which way should I go?"

We are very grateful to the many local peace lovers who stop to  share their hopes and wishes for peace.

To share peace you can even stop and get off your bike :)

Ready to run to our final destination, Aspiration-Ground in Jamaica, Queens. Fly like a bird.

International oneness-peace and smiles from many countries.

The final few steps with gratitude and joy.

On stage for our final ceremony.

Ranjana reads a proclamation written some year back by President Mkail Gorbacev who commemorated the efforts of the Peace Run in fostering harmony between nations and the wide world.

Gratitude from the U.S.A.-Canada Peace Runners to all those who made this significant and joyful event possible, as well as to  all the other Peace Runs around the world that are sharing the essential qualities of peace, friendship and joy with millions of people from all walks of life.

"As this Peace Run covers the length and breadth of the world, we shall see how Heaven and earth can go together, carrying the same message of the Creator's infinite Joy, which is inside His eternal Peace."                                                                      Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run
