After we were finished with our miles, we arrived in Tupelo, MS. where the famous singer Elvis Presley was born.  We visited the museum where they have the house where Elvis lived as a child and the church where his parents brought him to worship.  He lived in Tupelo until he was 13 yrs old, then his parents moved to Memphis, TN.

We also went to visit Johnnies's Drive In, the restaurant that Elvis used to visit as a child. We sat at his favorite booth in the diner.  We would like to thank Mananya for treating the women's team with delicious milkshakes and fries.

We all signed the guest book letting them know that the Peace Run was there.

Salil found the hardware store where Elvis bought his first guitar on January 8, 1946 he was only 11 yrs old. He  would later designate Rock and Roll.
