Our friend and guest Licia Caprara came all the way from her home town, Lanciano, to participate in the run. She met us last year and enthusiastically asked to participate.
She run with us the whole day (including the unforgiving Conero uphills...) and enjoyed her time with the Peace Torch.

Kids from the "Maria Montessori" primary school learning about the torch. In the question and answer session that followed, the young children proved to be quite confident with the theme of peace. Their enthusiastic partecipation was the best reward for our work.

Deputy mayor for education, Tiziana Borini. Her support was crucial for making the Peace Run in Ancona an experience that we will treasure and carry with us.

A special thank goes to "Università per la pace" (university of peace) of Ancona represented by Mario Busti, the president, and Davide Guidi. The University of Peace helped us tremendously in making the Peace Run in Ancona a remarkable event.
