As sportsmen, the students did not fail to understand the social implications of sport, and its connection with peace-making.

In Brescia we are welcomed by the "Corri x Brescia" association, which we gladly remember from last year visit.

Council President Laura Parenza and Education deputy mayor Roberta Morelli, along with Sport deputy mayor Fabrizio Benzoni, spoke very warm words of support and appreciation for the cause of promoting peace. They stressed the importance of personal effort and the need to educate the younger ones to a culture of peace. Council president Laura Parenza also remarked that Brescia is a very active city when it comes to peace, to the extent of having a festival for peace.

The running club Corri x Brescia invited us into the premises of their association and presented us with a nice t-shirt.
Their association organizes every Thursday training events where up to 700 people participate. This all takes place during winter to stay fit in the colder period of the year. The joint effort of 130 volunteers makes all this possible. Congratulations for your amazing team effort!
