Our team of International runners visit the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) near Machynlleth in Wales.
The team are met by staff and volunteers including Dr Adrian Watson, the Head of the Graduate School of the Environment, and Catriona Toms the External Relations Manager.

Adrian gave us a fascinating talk on the work that they do, the construction of the Centre and all the interesting courses they do for the public and their graduate course.

The town of Llanberis sits at the foot of the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon.
From Llanberis you can either take the train up to the summit of Snowdon ....
In 2008 Snowdon joined more than 800 significant landmarks and important locations around the world when it was dedicated as a Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossom by Lord Elis-Thomas.
