We visited the iconic and historic National Railway office buildings, founded in 1899, in Chittagong where the father of Sri Chinmoy, Sashi Kumar Ghosh, used to work as a railway inspector. Sri Chinmoy, Founder of the Peace Run, has many stories about his youth and how excited and happy he was to visit here whenever his father could take him here from his remote village far away.

Our first event of the day was a stop at the Fulki School. The Fulki School in Chittagong is a very unique school founded by Shila Momen, Principal, along with her husband, Abul Momen. They have been trying to create a system of education through which children can grow up to be intellectually profound as well as culturally and spiritually aware. With this mindset, Fulki was established. Fulki, established in 1976, envisioned the creation of a learning environment for children. This establishment takes into account the need for extra-curricular and cultural activities for the proper growth of a child's potential.

While we were waiting for the Mayor to arrive a very kind Staff Officer, Plabon Kumar Biswas, invited us into the office of the Deputy Commisioner to take a photo with us. Everyone in this office complex was so kind and understanding.

After dinner we had a soulful meditation on peace and then chatted for a while, reflecting on the day's exciting events and preparing for the next day's events in Shakpura. We are extremely grateful to the whole Ghosh family who have been so kind and generous to us since we started our trip in Dhaka and now here in Chittagong.
