Gabriella Paruzzi receives the Peace Run Torch Bearer Award. Gabriella is an Italian cross-country skier who competed from 1991 to 2006 and formerly skied with the G.S. Forestale. She skied in World Cup events, and won the Women's Overall World Cup in 2004. She participated in 5 Olympic Games winning one gold and four bronze medals!
