This is the real kanna flower. The city chose this flower as their symbol of peace, since this bright red flower is the first kind that bloomed in Hiroshima after the atom bomb-only after 1 month!
At our final destination of the day Joetsu City of Niigata Prefecture, we split into 2 teams and visited Inada Elementary and Tonome Elementary, meeting 100 and 160 energetic children respectively.
