Izumo Taisha shrine was the starting point for this years Peace Run in Japan. It is one of Japan's most ancient and important shrines. It is a designated World Heritage Site.

At Yonango City Hall we were once again welcomed by many of the workers outside the City Hall.
ゴールの米子市役所では玄関先でまたたくさんの職員の方々がお出迎えしてくれました
A representative of the city received the Torch. She spoke about World Peace being a universal aspiration and gave us her prayers for a successful Peace Run in Japan and a safe journey.
