Thank you very much to Garda Damian McMahon from Blanchardstown Police station who provided an escort for the Peace Run Team as they ran from Pheonix Park to the Mansion house in the City centre. He did a great job in controlling all the traffic as we ran through busy streets of Dublin.

We are very curious about this captivating black and white photo. The Lord Mayor reveals to us that it was taken in 1921 at a sitting of the newly assembled Irish parliament. The meeting took place in this exact building.

The Lord Mayor very kindly arranged a complimentary tour for the Peace Run team to the Little Museum of Dublin, an extremely entertaining and humorous half-hour tour that gives a broad history of the City of Dublin. We were waiting for a little while while he arranged the tour - when he came back he had our museum passes in his hand; he explained that he couldn't get a hold of the museum on the phone so he ran down the road to the museum and got the passes himself!
The staff at the museam are delighted learn about the Peace Run.
